Efficient Fully Structure-Preserving Signatures for Large Messages

چکیده

We construct both randomizable and strongly existentially unforgeable structure-preserving signatures for messages consisting of many group elements. To sign a message consisting of N = mn group elements we have a verification key size of m group elements and signatures contain n+2 elements. Verification of a signature requires evaluating n+1 pairing product equations. We also investigate the case of fully structure-preserving signatures where it is required that the secret signing key consists of group elements only. We show a variant of our signature scheme allowing the signer to pick part of the verification key at the time of signing is still secure. This gives us both randomizable and strongly existentially unforgeable fully structure-preserving signatures. In the fully structure preserving scheme the verification key is a single group element, signatures contain m+n+1 group elements and verification requires evaluating n+1 pairing product equations.

More Efficient Structure-Preserving Signatures - Or: Bypassing the Type-III Lower Bounds

Structure-preserving signatures are an important cryptographic primitive that is useful for the design of modular cryptographic protocols. It has been proven that structure-preserving signatures (in the most efficient Type-III bilinear group setting) have a lower bound of 3 group elements in the signature (which must include elements from both source groups) and require at least 2 pairing-produ...

Fully Structure-Preserving Signatures and Shrinking Commitments

Structure-preserving signatures are schemes in which public keys, messages, and signatures are all collections of source group elements of some bilinear groups. In this paper, we introduce fully structure-preserving signature schemes, with the additional requirement that even secret keys should be group elements. This new type of structure-preserving signatures allows for efficient non-interact...

Short Group Signatures via Structure-Preserving Signatures: Standard Model Security from Simple Assumptions

Group signatures are a central cryptographic primitive which allows users to sign messages while hiding their identity within a crowd of group members. In the standard model (without the random oracle idealization), the most efficient constructions rely on the Groth-Sahai proof systems (Eurocrypt’08). The structure-preserving signatures of Abe et al. (Asiacrypt’12) make it possible to design gr...

How to Obtain Fully Structure-Preserving (Automorphic) Signatures from Structure-Preserving Ones

In this paper, we bridge the gap between structure-preserving signatures (SPSs) and fully structure-preserving signatures (FSPSs). In SPSs, all the messages, signatures, and verification keys consist only of group elements, while in FSPSs, even signing keys are required to be a collection of group elements. To achieve our goal, we introduce two new primitives called trapdoor signature and signa...

Optimal Structure-Preserving Signatures in Asymmetric Bilinear Groups

Structure-preserving signatures are signatures defined over bilinear groups that rely on generic group operations. In particular, the messages and signatures consist of group elements and the verification of signatures consists of evaluating pairing product equations. Due to their purist nature structure-preserving signatures blend well with other pairingbased protocols. We show that structure-...
